IAB Europe is recruiting! We are looking for an Industry Programmes & Membership Administrator, a Marketing & Events Coordinator, and a Digital Advertising Analyst.  If you would like to find out more about these roles and how to apply, keep reading!

 

Industry Programmes & Membership Administrator 

The Industry Programmes coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating IAB Europe’s industry facing committees focused on programmatic trading, brand advertising and research. This will include collaborating with industry stakeholders – from platforms, publishers, agencies and advertising technology companies – on industry initiatives to support the growth and development of digital marketing and advertising in Europe. They will also provide administrative support to  IAB Europe’s industry programmes such as sustainability and retail media. 

Industry Programmes & Membership key tasks:

  • Coordination of multi-stakeholder committees, task forces and projects including agenda setting, minute writing and ensuring action items are completed
  • Administration support for IAB Europe’s sustainability and retail media programmes
  • Coordinating membership plans and activities 
  • Keeping members profiles updated on the website
  • Working with members to ensure the right people are represented on the committees and taskforces
  • Coordinating membership meetings with the team 

Additional experience / skills: The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in a similar role for a minimum of 1 year. Attention to detail, good project management skills and an excellent command of the English language will be beneficial in this position.

The job will be remote working so the person can be based anywhere within Europe. There will be occasional travel to Brussels and other European cities.

Marketing & Events Coordinator 

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting IAB Europe’s marketing department in coordinating all of its marketing efforts to members and the wider digital advertising and marketing community. This will involve assisting the team with their daily activities, whether that is checking copy, managing the website and social engagement, creating a new campaign or event, email marketing, researching trends, or preparing reports.  This is a full time role.

Marketing and Communications key tasks:

  • Marketing and communications planning and execution including content writing for the weekly newsletter and dedicated monthly newsletters
  • Social media engagement – updating the social media team with latest content and communications to promote through appropriate channels
  • Stakeholder management – working closely with a wide range of industry stakeholders to promote outputs through newsletters, forums and events
  • Update of website – Ensuring the website is up to date with latest member and association information.  Working with the team, creating content for the blog and knowledge hub
  • Event planning and execution –  including agenda development, contacting and confirming speakers, speaker briefings and follow-up communications
  • Creative coordination – Working with the external creative agency, managing the timetable of creative outputs such as social graphics, communication graphics and committee guides. 
  • Coordination of speaking roles for the senior team 
  • Management and use of digital marketing tools such as virtual event platforms, wordpress, mailchimp and google analytics

Additional experience / skills: The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in a similar role for a minimum of 1 year.  A natural creative flair, enthusiasm, proactiveness and strong event management skills will be required in this position. A good knowledge of digital marketing tools such as mailchimp, wordpress, zoom etc is desirable. The job will be based in the UK, with remote working. There will be occasional travel to Brussels and other European cities.

Digital Advertising Analyst

IAB Europe is looking for a full-time Digital Advertising Analyst. This newly created role is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting edge research and analysis on the digital advertising market and its intersection with technology, economy and policy. 

Location is flexible. The role can be based in Brussels, London or remote in any EU 27 country.

IAB Europe is the European-level association for the digital marketing and advertising ecosystem. Through its membership of National IABs and corporate members (media, technology and marketing companies), its aim is to represent the industry’s interests and proactively drive change to ensure that advertising can continue to support a pluralistic media and the continued availability of a rich universe of online information and other services on terms that make them accessible to everyone. 

Scope of role

Reporting to our Chief Economist, the Analyst will support a wide-ranging research agenda through data collection, modelling, analysis, expert liaison and deliver insights through contribution to written reports and presentations. This role will suit a data-savvy individual with a keen interest in digital advertising and technology who has 1-3 years experience. 

Key tasks will include:

  • Exploring latest market developments and emerging trends through collection of global data on advertising expenditure, social media, online video, e-commerce, gaming, artificial intelligence and related sectors
  • Review of macro-economic data (e.g. World Bank, OECD, Eurostat) and its impact on digital advertising
  • Analysis of financial filings from online platforms, large advertisers, advertising agencies, technology companies and media publishers
  • Maintenance and expansion of our advertising intelligence database
  • Visualising data in a compelling manner and contributing to evidence-based analyses of the digital advertising market
  • Liaising with advertising industry experts, academic and policy network to support research initiatives via surveys or interviews
  • Monitoring of academic and expert literature on wide-ranging issues from Platform Economics to Disinformation and AI policy
  • Assisting in the creation of PowerPoint presentations, reports and conference preparation
  • Attending and reporting on industry events and briefings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong academic background in economics, statistics, politics, or another relevant discipline; a Master’s degree is desirable
  • Ideally 1-3 years experience in analysis, market research or similar (any industry)
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (another European language is beneficial)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and interpret data to quickly understand business objectives and emerging trends
  • Highly numerate with strong Excel skills, experience in economic modelling or statistics is a plus
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • The ability to take the initiative and work autonomously, whilst also enjoying working in a small but highly energetic team
  • A keen interest in advertising and technology as well as Internet and digital media research
  • Suitable home office environment if applying for remote work.

We live in a new culture of work, and this role is suited to remote work. The successful applicant can either be based in our Brussels office, in London where our Chief Economist is located, or remote in any EU-27 country.
